PROHIBITION OF WOMEN WEARING PANTS IN SOME PLACES OF WORSHIP. [1 Part - 1/2]

MEDICINES FOR THE FAITH

PROHIBITION OF WOMEN WEARING PANTS IN SOME PLACES OF WORSHIP.
[1 Part - 1/2]
***********************
The Catholic Church totally agree that there should be respect and discretion in the way both women and men dress. But we cannot remain silent about those who sow discord manipulating the Bible to introduce alleged commands of God, doctrines of men that denigrate the dignity of human beings.
Many applied Dt 22.5 in a twisted way:
"A woman shall not wear an article proper to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's dress; for anyone who does such things is an abomination to the LORD, your God.
Firstly; nowhere in Scripture says women are prohibited from wearing pants. The only garment somewhat like pants that appears in the Bible is called 'DRAWERS' but, just in case, they weren't pants. The priests of the Old Testament used these drawers for their worship functions (SEE: Ex 39, 27 to 28; Lev 6, 3; Sirach 45, 8) "to cover their naked flesh from their loins to their thighs" (Ex 28, 41 to 42)
The question is: Why if these drawers or what King David was wearing while dancing nearly naked (2 Sam 6, 14, 20-22) before the ark of God, why these men were not taken out of the worship functions? What happened there that this rule was not enforced? Why to enforce it only to women? Are they more impure than men? Are they the spawn of perversion?

"Were you told that PURGATORY DOES NOT EXIST? [1 Part - 1/4]

"Were you told that PURGATORY DOES NOT EXIST?
[1 Part - 1/4]

=======================

MEDICINES FOR THE FAITH
=======================
✔ The existence of Purgatory is dogma of faith [1-2]. It was defined in the Councils of Lyons and Florence [3]. Also at the Council of Trent [4].

✔ "Already in the second century the Eucharist was offered for the dead" [5].
✔ The Second Book of Maccabees (12, 43-46) states that the dead are freed from their sins by alms giving. This confirms the existence of purgatory.
This is so clear that Protestants, to deny the existence of purgatory are forced to deny the authenticity of this text.
✔ However the Church since the beginning, has considered this text as inspired, ratifying it in the Third Council of Carthage (canon 47) [6].
✔ The very Jesus in Matthew 24, 15-16 is quoting the book of Maccabees, specifically chapter 5, verses 24-27; and Chapter 6, verses 1-3 [Dn 9.27 and Psalm 74, 1 to 10 also talk about these Maccabees passages]

The ERROR of the Protestant doctrine «« SOLA FIDES »» ««FAITH ONLY"" ""works do not save»» [Part 1 - 1/2]

The ERROR of the Protestant doctrine «« SOLA FIDES »»
««FAITH ONLY"" ""works do not save»»

[Part 1 - 1/2]

MEDICINES FOR THE FAITH
***********************
[NOTE: The biblical texts mentioned in this article are taken from the Protestant "King James Version" instead of a Christian Catholic version in order to avoid being accuse of using a Catholic version to support the Church teachings by readers from those denominations who preach this doctrine.
Faith alone saves?
(SOLA FE)
They claim the Catholic Church is wrong to teach that salvation is by works and personal merits. Where do these "pastors" get that, since nowhere the King James Bible refers to this?
The doctrine "Sola Fide" does not appear in the Bible. Martin Luther, misinterpreting Paul, who said "that man was not justified by works of the law so that no one can boast" committed the daring adultery of Scripture, entering the word "Sola" in Rom.1, 17
'The just shall live by faith alone."
Thus he thought that man reached salvation by faith alone. The original text reads:
"The just shall live by faith."
Our expected brothers also cite Ephesians 2, 8-9:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast."
These brothers only draw from the Bible what interests them, hiding what might affect their doctrines. With this attitude they turn against the Bible itself, which they say "to appreciate so much." They don't take into account the following verse:
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10).
In light of biblical truth, the apostle Paul exhorts us to strive to earn our salvation. See: 1 Corinthians 6, 9; Galatians 5, 14; 1 Corinthians 9, 24. They also ignore the Apostle James' epistle. In that, they are of the same view of Martin Luther, who doubted the authenticity of it, calling it "an epistle of straw" because it did not favor his interests. He committed the audacity of adulterating the Scriptures, up to the point of also denying the Book of Revelation.

SHEPHERDS OF CHRIST; for the sheep, Insist in season and out of season

SHEPHERDS OF CHRIST;
for the sheep,
Insist in season and
out of season
_____________________________

MEDICINES FOR THE FAITH
***********************
Taken from:
Saint Augustine, Sermon on
pastors from 46, 14 to 15
The straying sheep you have not recalled; the lost sheep you have not sought. In one way or another, we go on living between the hands of robbers and the teeth of raging wolves, and in light of these present dangers we ask your prayers. The sheep moreover are insolent. The shepherd seeks out the straying sheep, but because they have wandered away and are lost they say that they are not ours. “ Why do you want us? Why do you seek us?” they ask, as if their straying and being lost were not the very reason for our wanting them and seeking them out. “If I am straying”, he says, “if I am lost, why do you want me?” You are straying, that is why I wish to recall you. You have been lost, I wish to find you. “But I wish to stray”, he says: “I wish to be lost”.
So you wish to stray and be lost? How much better that I do not also wish this. Certainly, I dare say, I am unwelcome. But I listen to the Apostle who says: Preach the word; insist upon it, welcome and unwelcome. Welcome to whom? Unwelcome to whom? By all means welcome to those who desire it; unwelcome to those who do not. However unwelcome, I dare to say: “You wish to stray, you wish to be lost; but I do not want this”. For the one whom I fear does not wish this. And should I wish it, consider his words of reproach: The straying sheep you have not recalled; the lost sheep you have not sought. Shall I fear you rather than him? Remember, we must all present ourselves before the judgement seat of Christ.
I shall recall the straying; I shall seek the lost. Whether they wish it or not, I shall do it. And should the brambles of the forests tear at me when I seek them, I shall force myself through all straits; I shall put down all hedges. So far as the God whom I fear grants me the strength, I shall search everywhere. I shall recall the straying; I shall seek after those on the verge of being lost. If you do not want me to suffer, do not stray, do not become lost. It is enough that I lament your straying and loss. No, I fear that in neglecting you, I shall also kill what is strong. Consider the passage that follows: And what was strong you have destroyed. Should I neglect the straying and lost, the strong one will also take delight in straying and in being lost.
We Pray
R /. Do not hold the appropriate word nor hide your wisdom; because speaking shows your wisdom, and intelligence in the answer given by the tongue.
V /. Preach the word, keep at it in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and desire to instruct.
R /. Because speaking shows your wisdom, and intelligence in the answer given by the tongue.
Oh God, since you've
placed the fullness of the
law in the love for You
and thy neighbor,
grant us the wish to obey
your commandments
in order to reach
eternal life.
Through our Lord
Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns
with you and
the Holy Spirit and is
God for ever
ever. Amen

Christians, Catholics and Evangelicals AREN'T WE THE SAME FAMILY? Let's heal the divisions

Christians, Catholics
and Evangelicals
AREN'T WE THE
SAME FAMILY?
Let's heal the divisions
_____________________________
MEDICINES FOR THE FAITH
***********************
Neither we Catholics can say that we are not Christians nor evangelicals, because we'd be lying; nor those who call themselves evangelicals or Christians can walk proclaiming that they are no longer Catholic. There are inconsistencies on both sides and we'll be lying if we continue to express ourselves this way.
'CATHOLICS'
ARE BOTH 'CHRISTIANS'
AND 'EVANGELICALS':
They are 'Evangelicals': They are, from their very cradle of birth. Its origins can be found in Matthew's Gospel 16, 18-19. We owe it to the Catholic Church for writing and establishing the four Gospels, through five councils between the IV, V and XVI centuries, as inspired by God along with the rest of the New Testament and the Old Testament's 46 books. Doesn't this makes it the quintessential Evangelical Church?
Gospel means good news. Isn't the Catholic church the oldest and only church whom received the Good News of the Gospel directly from Jesus Christ Himself?
Isn't it the original Evangelical Church, and shouldn't its members call themselves 'Evangelicals'?
They are 'CHRISTIANS': The Catholic Church is also, by its Identity Card, the 'Christian Church'. In the city of Antioch, Jesus' Christ disciples were first given the title of CHRISTIANS. And a few years later, in the year 107, at the same city of Antioch, their Bishop, named Ignatius, disciple of the Apostle John, gave them the title of CATHOLIC CHURCH.
Why is there so much imprudence generated by many CATHOLICS, whom live thinking and saying that the title 'CHRISTIAN' is only for those who decide to abandon the Catholic Church? Isn't this a scandalous way of speaking falsely and does it not tend to confuse more than to unite?
'EVANGELICALS'
and 'CHRISTIANS'
are still 'CATHOLICS'.
What are the REASONS and PROOFS?:
✔ Do they believe with all their hearts that the books of the Bible, especially the New Testament, are inspired by God? They will most likely say yes! And that right there makes them intensely belong to the only Church which established that these books, and not others, should be accepted by God's people as inspired by God. Using the Bible with such passion is still ingrained deeply in the Catholic Church. Martin Luther himself admitted this when he said:
"We are obliged
of admitting to the
Papists that they
have the Word of
God, that we have
received it from them,
and without them there
would be no
knowledge of it "[1]
They are immensely CATHOLIC by confessing and preaching that in the place of worship where they meet, JESUS CHRIST is present. That is how the early Christian communities from the first century were identified:
"BECAUSE WHEREVER
JESUS CHRIST IS, THE CATHOLIC
CHURCH IS THERE TOO"[2]
And the CHRISTIAN CHURCH could not be called and be different from the identity of its founder. JESUS is UNIVERSAL, WHOLE, which is synonymous or equal to saying 'CATHOLIC'.
How should CHRISTIANS identify or describe their CHURCH, being that it must be a reflection and image of its founder, who is and will be forever “UNIVERSAL = CATHOLIC”?
«« CATHOLIC CHURCH »»
right?

FALSE DOCTRINES To say that ...: THE ONLY VALID BAPTISM IS BY IMMERSION [Part 2/3]

FALSE DOCTRINES
To say that ...:
THE ONLY VALID BAPTISM
IS BY IMMERSION
[Part 2/3]

MEDICINES FOR THE FAITH
***********************
The Word of God tells Christians where and how to be immersed. Don't let yourself be guided by churches founded by men's doctrines:
The christian is baptized in the name of the Holy Trinity (Mt 28.18 to 20), and submerged in the person of Jesus Christ and in the same way as He was baptized: in his passion, death and resurrection: Mc 10, 35- 40; Lk 12, 50; Rm 6, 3 to 5.
Baptism is to follow His example of not denying the cross in sacrifice for love of neighbor to the end (cf. Lk 9, 62). Jesus, then, is the living water in which dip those who will be baptized.
Indeed, the term 'BAPTISM' means 'DIP'; but many make the mistake of thinking that it refers to literally "SUBMERGE IN WATER" and therefore teach very wrongly, that the only valid baptism is done by immersing people in rivers, seas, lakes or pools.
Just imagine how many billions of human beings would be deprived of baptism, if it were a truth from God, that the only valid way to baptize would be by submerging people in water.
Those who have lived, those who live and those who will live in our planet's arid deserts, in frozen glaciers, or surrounding many polluted rivers, or prisons, or those bedridden hospital patients or in their houses ...
Don't they have the same right as other humans of being able to be baptized? Where could they be dipped?
That false doctrine could also be called a "Doctrinal Trap" that can only come from one who wants that many may never become children of God, never to be redeemed by Christ. Certainly, those who belong to the evil act hidden from light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
To be clear:
JESUS CHRIST is, not lakes, rivers, seas or pools, the "LIVING WATER" where whoever is getting baptized has to be submerge. He Himself said so: "I AM THE WATER OF LIFE." Jn 7, 37-38.

Baptism is God's

We call it gift,
grace, anointing,

It is called GIFT
because it is conferred
on those who bring

GRACE: since it is

guilty; Baptism
because sin is
buried in the water;
ANOINTING: for it is
priestly and royal as
are those who are
anointed;
ENLIGHTENMENT:
because it radiates
light;
CLOTHING: since it
veils our shame;
BATH: because it
washes;

ETHIOPIAN: Master, I want to be baptized to receive Jesus Christ, but how can I if I'm just a child?
PHILIP: Why do you say you can't, my Ethiopian friend?
ETHIOPIAN: Because my mom, who goes to her cult almost every night, tells me that you can only baptize adults. But one question, Philip. why do I have to wait so long?
PHILIP: Friend, you don't have to wait. Your mom has good intentions but surely she received very little information about the Christian faith. There is evidence in the Bible and in history that children could be baptized, but your mom still doesn't know it, and I'm going to tell it to you.
Let's begin with the Bible:
When we baptize a child they are given the biggest and the most beautiful gift of all: to belong to Christ (1 Cor 6. 19) [1]. There were occasions where entire families were baptized and that can be found in Acts 16, 14-15 (Lydia's entire family baptism); in Acts 16, 33 (the Warden's family); in Acts 18. 8 (Crispus' entire household), and in 1 Cor 1, 16 (household of Stephanas). St. Paul says in Col 2, 11-12 that "In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not administered by hand, by stripping off the carnal body, with the circumcision of Christ. You were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead." If baptizing children was banned Paul would have said it here. Baptism replaces circumcision, which was done at an early age (Gen. 17. 12; Lev 12. 3); that gave children the opportunity to participate in baptism and to shed their fleshly body and be clothed in Christ (Gal 3: 27). Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had ordered him (Gen 21,3-4) and even Jesus himself was circumcised when he was eight days old (Luke 2: 21). In conclusion, nowhere in the Bible says it is forbidden to baptize infants.
ETHIOPIAN: Why prevent children from being part of the body of Christ when He himself said :: "Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (Mk 10: 14)?
PHILIP: That's what I have asked myself, Ethiopian. Why deny children the grace to join the body of Christ if we know from Scripture that by this sacrament we become part of His Body? Even the Scriptures say that thru baptism "... for we are members one of another. " (Ephesians 4, 25) How can we imagine the Body of Christ, His Church, made only by adults and young people without the presence of children?
If in His statements about children, Jesus Christ warns adults about the demands to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, this allow us a glimpse and infer into the children's capabilities and rights to participate in this grace.

WHY DID ANGELS REBEL AGAINST, IF THEY WERE PERFECT BEINGS AND WERE CREATED TO SERVE GOD? [1st PART 1/2]

MEDICINES FOR THE FAITH

WHY DID ANGELS REBEL AGAINST, IF THEY WERE PERFECT BEINGS AND WERE CREATED TO SERVE GOD?
[1st PART 1/2]

Ez 28, 13-15 describes how God says that an angel was a model of beauty and wisdom at the sacred mountain of God, being faultless but eventually grew faulty and filled with violence, his beauty was filled with pride and his splendor would upsetted his sense.
Is 14, 9 recounts how this angel was called "morning star" (synonymous with "Lucifer " or " Satan"), and describe his windfall from heaven and collapse on the ground.
These two prophecies are fulfilled in Rev. 12, 7-10 when the Apostle John describes: "Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. The dragon and its angels fought back, but they did not prevail and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. The huge dragon, the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world, was thrown down to earth, and its angels were thrown down with it. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have salvation and power come, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Anointed. For the accuser of our brothers is cast out, who accuses them before our God day and night."
CONCLUSION:
Just as God created man in His image and likeness, God also created angels with free will, as they have intelligence and will.
