The ERROR of the Protestant doctrine «« SOLA FIDES »»
««FAITH ONLY"" ""works do not save»»

[NOTE: The biblical texts mentioned in this article are taken from the Protestant "King James Version" instead of a Christian Catholic version in order to avoid being accuse of using a Catholic version to support the Church teachings by readers from those denominations who preach this doctrine.
Faith alone saves?
(SOLA FE)
They claim the Catholic Church is wrong to teach that salvation is by works and personal merits. Where do these "pastors" get that, since nowhere the King James Bible refers to this?
The doctrine "Sola Fide" does not appear in the Bible. Martin Luther, misinterpreting Paul, who said "that man was not justified by works of the law so that no one can boast" committed the daring adultery of Scripture, entering the word "Sola" in Rom.1, 17
'The just shall live by faith alone."
Thus he thought that man reached salvation by faith alone. The original text reads:
"The just shall live by faith."
Our expected brothers also cite Ephesians 2, 8-9:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast."
These brothers only draw from the Bible what interests them, hiding what might affect their doctrines. With this attitude they turn against the Bible itself, which they say "to appreciate so much." They don't take into account the following verse:
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10).
In light of biblical truth, the apostle Paul exhorts us to strive to earn our salvation. See: 1 Corinthians 6, 9; Galatians 5, 14; 1 Corinthians 9, 24. They also ignore the Apostle James' epistle. In that, they are of the same view of Martin Luther, who doubted the authenticity of it, calling it "an epistle of straw" because it did not favor his interests. He committed the audacity of adulterating the Scriptures, up to the point of also denying the Book of Revelation.
